Back 2 Blogging #44 - Funky Monkey Snacks Review/Giveaway ENDED

My kids are your typical kids and love to snack, unfortunatly like their mom they are addicted to snacking on crunchy things like chips, pretzels or popcorn and tend to not eat fruits because of the lack of crunch.  Thankfully we have found Funky Monkey Snacks and yay their habits have changed.  Funky Monkey snacks are all-natural, vegan, have no sugar added, 3 of the flavors are made with organic fruit.

The snacks come in four flavors Bananamon, Carnaval Mix, Jivealime, & Purple Funk.  The Bananmon is freeze-dried banana with cinnamon, they smell yummy, taste as good as they smell and are one of the 3 organic flavors.  Carnaval mix is freeze-dried organic banana, organic pineapple, apple, papaya and raisins this one is 70% organic.  The Jivealime is freeze-dried pineapple and lime juice, this is the second of the three organic flavors.  Last we have the Purple Funk, these look funny and we had to convince the kids to try them but they love them despite their looks.  The purple funk is freeze-dried banana and acai, this is also the third of the three organic flavors.

Funky Monkey Snacks has a unique freeze-drying process that helps the fruit maintain nearly all the flavor and nutrients found in fresh fruits.  They use full slices and pieces of fresh fruit not small diced pieces.  Funky Monkey snacks are made in Brazil using tropical fruit at the peak of freshness, their products are gluten free and are also certified Kosher.  I know I am feeding my kids the best snacks when I give them Funky Monkey snacks and it makes me feel even better knowing they are getting 3 full servings of fruit in each 1 oz bag.
