While I am not a tattooed person myself I do love the tattoo look on clothes, purses, baby carriers etc you can get. I would have tattoos except I am terrified of needles so I cannot put myself through that torture although not for lack of trying. I believe myself to be a funky mom, I do not dress my kids in typical fashion, i like things that are out of the ordinary.
We received the Butterfly hoodie valued at $40.00 from them to review and it is so adorable. Maddisyn loves it and it is perfect because it is not super heavy so she can wear it in the fall or under her heavy snowsuit in the winter.

Halloween is fast approaching so I had to start asking the age old question. What do you want to dress up as for halloween? Chase and Blake of course have no idea yet and we went from batman to knight to backugan to who knows what else. The babies on the other hand I have full control over still. I already showed you what Maddisyn is going to be (Victoria Elizabeth review), so now i would like to share with you what Holden is going to be and also share a great costume store where we got it from.

It is so adorable and super warm which is good living in the north we need to almost wear snowsuit for halloween, as a matter of fact we have had 2 feet of snow on halloween many times before. Baby Dipper was invented by a woman named Barbara Schantz who is a mom of twin girls born in 2004 and twin boys born in 2008, wow busy momma. As a SAHM of two sets of twins she had to feed two babies while trying to figure out how to not get the bowl to slide across the table. The idea for Baby Dipper came about when the twin girls were 6 months old, not long after they started eating cereal and purees. She searched the market but could not find what she needed, a bowl that stayed put and was easy to get the food out of it.
The Baby Dipper does just as Barbara wanted. It is awesome, we stick it on the table and thanks to the no slip base it stays right where we put it. The sides are transparent so incredible to be able to see through to see the amount of food left in the bowl. The bowl also holds 4 ozs of food and has contoured sides to make easy scooping. Holden likes it when we use the Baby Dipper because we spend less time chasing the bowl around to feed him and more time actually shoveling the food in. Also once Holden gets older this will be great for him to learn to self feed without chasing his bowl of food around his tray.

Tonight we are going to do a partial written and partial video review. The Soda Stream system comes in four different models but we are going to spotlight the Fountain Jet because that is the one we got.. It came with the fountain jet soda maker, 110-litre carbonator & two carbonating bottles. We also got a large variety of soda mixes which included diet cola, pink grapefruit, diet ginger ale, orange caffeine free, lemon lime, cranberry raspberry cream soda and rootbeer. On top of the soda mixes we received an energy drink mix as well as 3 pack of my water.
You can get over 25 different flavors of soda mix, and since you only use a small capful each time you make it the mixes will last quite some time. The full size soda mixes (500 ML) cost 4.99 each, here we pay 2.99 for a bottle of pop so we are certainly saving a TON of money making our own and one bottle makes the equivalent of 12 llitres (about 33 cans). If you are unsure what flavors you may prefer you can always get the Soda Mix Variety pack which comes with 12 mixes (6 regular and 6 diet) each pack makes 1 litre of pop. The twelve flavors include Energy Drink, Pete’s Choice, Root Beer, Fountain Mist, Lemon-Lime, Orange, Diet Cola, Diet Lemon-Lime, Diet Root Beer, Diet Pete's Choice, Diet Cranberry-Raspberry and Diet Pink Grapefruit. The soda mix is naturally and artificially flavored with a very low level of sodium. It contains no sugar, no high-fructose corn syrup and no aspartame additives.

I use a laptop for my blogging and my everyday life. I have not had a desktop in 2 years and am in total love with my laptop and the reliability and portabilty it provides me. The only thing i hate about my laptop is that it burns my legs if i sit too long with it on my lap which means I cannot do as much as I want on it knowing i have to put it down every once in a while to prevent the burning.
Now thanks to LapWorks I no longer have to worry about burned legs. I received the Futura Laptop Desk w/MouzPad to test out. I immediatly started using it and felt a huge difference in my legs and was actually able to sit and use my computer for an hour or two while the kids napped with no leg burns, although now my dishes still need done. Another issue i had with my laptop is that I have to use a mouse, I cannot use the touchpad my fingers cramp up so fast and then I am miserable so I use a mouse. But using the mouse leaves me stuck right next to a desk or trying to find a flat spot on the couch. My Future Laptop Desk comes with a MouzPad so i can use my mouse on the desk right beside me. The only downfall to the desk is that I have to use a mousepad with it so i have to be careful not to drop that when i am moving from one room to another. If i don't use a mousepad the mouse moves way too slow and is skippy because the MouzPad is too shiny for my laser mouse but hey i can handle having to use a mousepad if it means no more burning legs.

I am a cell phone user, so is Lee. It really is logical that we both use cell phones after all he works for a major cell phone company here so it would be funny if at least he didn't have one. I love my cell and being able to be in contact with my kids school, our family, friends and of course Lee during the day when I am not at home wether I am out walking or gone shopping.
Starting in October it is going to be mandatory in my province that we use bluetooth, we are not even allowed to TOUCH our cellphones or we can be fined. That is fine with me, but we had to find something suitable for use that did not make me sound like i was in a fishtank. Then I got the chance to review the Parrot Minikit Chich bluetooth hands-free car kit and it has been my saviour.
The Parrot Minikit Chic attaches to my visor and thanks to its sleek design is super easy to use and does not block my line of sight at all. It could also be used in the home or office but ours doesn't leave the van. It can be charged in the vehicle with the included power adapter or you can hook it to your computer and charge it that way while getting whatever updates may be available for it.
Pairing it to our cell phones was super easy and once paired it automatically got my contacts so now I simply press the green button and it asks me who i want to call, i tell it the name and it dials simple as that. Best of all is that it recognizes any voice, so Lee can use it paired with my phone to make a call and it will respond to his voice, or even Chase and Blake's voices. The sound is amazing and I can hear whoever is on the other end of the phone clear as day and they can hear me.

So to be totally honest I never really saw myself as a wallart vinyl lettering kinda girl. But I was given the chance to review a product from Sticky Words so I thought why not lets give it a go. Little did I know deciding to do it was the easiest part, the hardest was to decide which room I was going to do the lettering in. After much thought and consideration Lee and I together decided we would get one for Maddisyns room.
Maddisyns room is all pink and brown and has Disney Princesses on her fan and walls and stuff so the quote that stood out to us and was perfect was "A dream is a wish your Heart makes When you're fast asleep - Cinderella" pictured here on her wall. This comes in 2 sizes 18" x 36" which costs $18.00 normall but at time of this writing is on sale for 15.99. You can order the vinyl in 25 different colors and they even have 2 specialty films of silver and gold. The application was super easy to do, we simply watched the application video on the website and it took us about 20 minutes to put it up from start to finish.

Victoria Elizabeth QOC is a great Etsy shop. She has some adorable adorable items in her shop such as dreses, tutu dresses, hairt ies, skirts, jewelry and favor bags. One item that is absolutely awesome though is her costume kits.
The costume kits were inspired by the song My Girl because as she says "My girls fill my life with sunshine". The costume sets come in a variety of designs which include DIY- Neon glow lady bug ($24.00), Dartha V costume set ($56.00 and so adorable, pictured below), DIY Blue Jay ($20.00), Clown princess ($28.00), cheerleader ($28.00) and the DIY- Lady bug ($18 without shirt or $20.00 with, limited supply on shirts only a few left).
We received the DIY - Ladybug costume kit to review and it is so cute. The costume kits make it easy for me to put together a halloween costume for maddisyn all while being able to say I bought it in a store....sort of. The kit came with the wings pre-cut with the black pettiskirt ruffle already sewn on and all i had to do was cut out and glue on the black dots (came with the felt for this), a one size fits all black top that is too cute and super stretchy so i can put warm clothes underneath it. It also comes with the elastic pre-cut for the tutu and all the tulle precut into the size you need so you just tie it on, then you take the included pom poms and glue those on and tada you have the tutu, wings and top for a lady bug. But Victoria Elizabeth did not stop there, what cute little ladybug is complete without its antenna, so there is also an alligator clip, no slip grippy, ribbon, wired antenna and 2 pom poms. Maddisyn is going to be this for Halloween and i am so excited, we will pair it with a pair of black leggings and some adorable black shoes (which we have to find yet). This was super easy to put together and Victoria Elizabeth emailed me the instructions which was a plus because it saved the printing of paper that i would use once then have to get rid of anyhow.
Don't just take my word on how cute it is though, my friend Jen from over at Jens herd also ordered one for her little girls so I asked her for a quote, while she is a quite busy momma and was NAK and fighting with her two other kids at the same time she was able to give me this short quote "absolutely adorable and so easy to assemble, even the kids helped".
Victoria Elizabeth QOC also makes these super cute headbands out of all things DUCT TAPE. I couldn't believe it when i saw it but it is awesome and she can do so many colors as well, I actually went searching for colored duct tape online because i apparently live in a bubble and was unaware they made it lol. She takes two different colors and makes it, so you could order one to match your sports team, special outfit or special holiday. The headbands are very afforable at $5.00 a headband so you could buy a few and customize them to different outfits.

The reason I told you all to hang on is we are doing a triple review tonight. I am going to be reviewing the Safe Sippy 2, the Safe Starter, and the Safe Sporter all from Kid Basix.
Lets do this in the order they are needed by kids so we are going to start out with the Safe Starter. We got this one and I was so excited to open it up and give it to Holden. The Safe Starter comes in two sizes the 5 oz and the 9 oz, and is available in three different colors. We got the green 9 oz one, which came with a size 2 nipple on it, the 5 oz has a size 1 nipple. Holden loved the bottle but the nipple was a little too fast for him so we tucked it away and tried again a couple of weeks later and he did great with it. The bottle is stainless steel, comes with a nipple, silicone disk for travel, silicone sleeve and storage cap. Now I know you are thinking how in the world do you measure with a stainless steel bottle, you could eyeball it as there are markers on the outside of it, or if you need to be precise then you can use the travel cap which has convinent markers on it for you to measure it out. The stainless steel helps to keep your liquid inside hot or cold depending on what you need it to be. The 5 oz Safe Starters srv is 9.95 and the 9 oz is 11.95 on Amazon.com.
Next up we have the Safe Sippy 2. I love this cup and I love the option we have with it. Maddisyn doesn't really like straw cups for whatever reason she always tips them up and never gets drinks out of them then gets super angry. With the Safe Sippy 2 we have the option of putting in the straw plug, the normal sippy plug or for travel there is even a travel plug. The Safe Sippy 2 has a stainless steel body, handles for your child to hold it easily without getting cold/hot hands from the stainless steel, a spout, a dust cap to keep the dirt out of the spout when you are travelling and a silicone sleeve. Last but surely not least is the Safe Sporter sports bottle. Chase and Blake each got these to review and give me their opinions on. They immediatly filled them with water and headed off on "a bike ride to make us really thirsty". When they got back about 2 hours later, I am sure they went to Jenn's house to play with Vi instead lol, I asked how the cups were and they informed me they are AWESOME. They loved that the stainless steel kept their water cold and that even 2 hours later their water was still cold. The Safe Sporter has a stainless steel vessel, TPR sleeve, "plastic" coaster on the bottom, wide mouth for filling it, pull spout for easy drinking while on the go, and best of all a mud cap which could not have been named better when it comes to boys, especially mine.
