Baby Dipper was invented by a woman named Barbara Schantz who is a mom of twin girls born in 2004 and twin boys born in 2008, wow busy momma. As a SAHM of two sets of twins she had to feed two babies while trying to figure out how to not get the bowl to slide across the table. The idea for Baby Dipper came about when the twin girls were 6 months old, not long after they started eating cereal and purees. She searched the market but could not find what she needed, a bowl that stayed put and was easy to get the food out of it.
The Baby Dipper does just as Barbara wanted. It is awesome, we stick it on the table and thanks to the no slip base it stays right where we put it. The sides are transparent so incredible to be able to see through to see the amount of food left in the bowl. The bowl also holds 4 ozs of food and has contoured sides to make easy scooping. Holden likes it when we use the Baby Dipper because we spend less time chasing the bowl around to feed him and more time actually shoveling the food in. Also once Holden gets older this will be great for him to learn to self feed without chasing his bowl of food around his tray.
