Old Fashioned Cocoa

Ingredients:

•3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa
•1/4 cup of sugar
•4 cups of milk
•1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
•Mini marshmallows

Directions:

1.Mix the cocoa and the sugar together in a bowl.
2.Heat the milk in a saucepan until scalding.
3.Take about a third of the milk and mix it in with the cocoa mixture.
4.Return the cocoa mixture to the milk in the saucepan.
5.Stir until it is completely blended and add the vanilla.
6.Add marshmallows and enjoy.

We serve with the mini marshmallows or sometimes for a twist I will put some wipped cream from a can on top and then sprinkle some cinnamon overtop.

At christmas we will serve in cute christmas mugs for the kids with a candycane in it
