But MOMMMMM those band-aids suck they are boring. How many of us hear this complaint from our kids after they cut themselves and we have to bandage them up. With two busy boys and a super active toddler is should buy stock in band-aid companies although my kids always complain about how plain and boring normal ones are.
When i stumbled upon Ouchies i knew this was the answer to the band-aid whine. Ouchies was started by a dad who had the same opinion my kids and I do, those boring beige bandages have to go and he sure did kick them out with a big ole boot.
Ouchies come in really cute tins with 20 bandages in them and their motto "Hide Your Wound Not Your Style" printed on the front of them. They are very affordable at 5.00 dollars a tin. They currently come in three styles Teen-ages boy bands, Teen-ages girl bands and make your own-ages.
Boy Bands
Girl Bands
Make Your Own-ages
My kids are so excited to get hurt now so they can make their own bandage, I questioned how one would make their own bandage but the tin comes with 5 cool colored bandages and three permanent markers, you stick your band-aid on and then you can personalize it to fit your style, I foresee a lot of fake wounds in the future so they can use these lol.
My husband was pretty pumped about the flame ones in the boy bands and he even had a cut on his hand so he asked me if he could use one, I agreed mostly because he was going to get in the shower and I wanted to see how they held up under the water. So we stuck one on his cut and off he went to the shower, when he got out I checked and the bandage was still stuck there super good, on a mommy scale of 1-10 these bandages get a 12.
When I received my package from Ouchies I also got a letter from them and they informed me they are extremely excited about their new products arriving in September. They will have Mr. Men & Little Miss bandages as well as Ouchies for girlz, ouchies for boyz, and make your own.
